I have started packing my stuff. Gee, for how long have I tried avoiding this very activity of sorting out things I wouldn’t use or need any more. Actually, for men is always smarter afterwards, I should have started a long time ago, or, even better, simply throw away useless stuff right away. But here I stand, putting half the shelf in a carton and the other half into the garbage bag or recycling. Again, all my clothes fitted into the obligatory belinea-monitor cartons. I won’t rent a van this time, but rather drive twice instead with two cars. And so it happens, I have only 10 more days in Maastricht until Milena, Shorty‚s freshmen girlfriend will move in. I am so glad I instantly found someone (hopefully) reliable after Alice got positive news for her internship at T-Com. Christoph has also left for Kopenhagen a week ago, and wouldn’t there be Shorty & Milena, Alex & Antje, and Kilian, we would be walking the streets of Maastricht meeting zero people we know. No, honestly, it’s time to finish, especially feeling deeply disgusted by the way this year’s freshmen celebrate their Inkom. I once said that I could imagine living in Maastricht after my studies. Well, right now, I really don’t think so. Even Holland’s longest pedestrian’s bridge which was erected Saturday, won’t quite change my mind.
